THE Nelson Mandela CENTENARY Exhibition

From Prisoner to President’

The exhibition is curated by the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg. It reflects on Mandela’s life, his contribution to South Africa, and his passion for reconciliation.

Public Speaking Competition Heat 

Saturday 2nd February 2019 @2.00pm

Venue: University College Dublin, Belfield Campus, Quinn Building

Come along and support the girls, they are under 15 and some as young as 12. All the girls are wonderful speakers and very entertaining, give them a large audience.

Canaletto and the Art of Venice

This loan exhibition presents a selection of the finest eighteenth-century Venetian works from the UK’s Royal Collection. Paintings, drawings and prints by Canaletto, also with paintings and drawings by his contemporaries.

NB: There is no refund, as the Gallery does not give refunds.

Members who are Friends of the Gallery are welcome to join the group.

Public Speaking Competition Final

Venue: Synge Theatre, Arts Block, Trinity College Dublin

Saturday 2ndh March 2019 @ 2.00pm

Come along and support the teams representing UCD WGA, Trinity WG, Galway WG and Queens WG.

All the teams will have won their heat in Dublin, Galway and Belfast and all the girls are wonderful speakers and very entertaining, come along and give them a good audience!

Poetry Group

The Poetry Group meetings are held in the Conrad Hotel on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10.30 am.  New members most welcome.
