Where the West Sparkles

Join a small vibrant group of fellow women graduates in Galway. We are part of the Irish and International Federation of University Women and participate in the activities of both. Nationally, for example, each year we run a Public Speaking Competition for girls of under 15, and attend or organize a National Conference.

Locally, we meet monthly during the academic year enjoying such activities as talks on topics of interest to our members, a book club, cinema/theatre visits or an outing to a place of historical interest.

Membership is open to graduates of all Universities and, through linked membership, also to other institutions of Higher Education.
